Trading Stories®
In addition to the wide range of services, Storied Places® owners may participate in the Trading Stories® program, which can take you from your home resort to locations that can satisfy every taste for the exotic and the adventurous.
The Trading Stories® program is offered exclusively to Storied Places® owners and their guests, and provides exciting direct exchange opportunities within the Storied Places® fractional ownership network and select trading locations including North San Diego, Jackson Hole, Scottsdale, Punta Mita and Peninsula Papagayo.
A direct exchange means that one Planned Week at your home resort is equivalent to one week in another resort – subject to availability and exchange location. Requests are submitted to Storied Places OnCall® who will post the exchange request on the Owner’s Website. Exchanges can only be made with Planned Weeks; Space Available use cannot be traded.
Storied Places OnCall® will actively monitor the Trading Stories® Owner Exchange Area on a daily basis. When a compatible exchange is requested, they will help to facilitate the trade between participants by:
- Contacting both parties to advise them of the mutual exchange interest.
- Confirming the exchange in the Property Management System.
- Advising the Resident Innkeepers of the exchange to the respective locations.
- Sending confirmation of the exchange to both participants.
- Removing the exchange request from the Owner’s Website.
Furthermore, Storied Places OnCall® will send a monthly email to all owners advising them of the posted trade opportunities that may be applicable.
